how to close apps on iphone 13

Normally you'll see your iPhone 13 should keeps apps running seamlessly in the background (or suspending them in background in case they are required). However, if you find that an iOS app is acting up or is not functioning properly, you can make the app close. Here's how.

Only Close Apps if They Malfunction

Before we begin we must be aware that the operating system of iPhone 13 which is Apple's iOS is doing a fantastic job of managing the system's resources. Therefore, you don't have to manually force an application to close unless it is unable to function or becomes slow to respond.

Although it's tempting to "clean house" by closing the apps you've suspended regularly but doing this can reduce the performance of your iPhone  and reduce the battery life. It's because when you open an app the app must completely start over from scratch. It's slow and consumes more CPU cycles that drain the battery on your iPhone.

How to Force an App to Close on iPhone 13

To end an application for your iPhone 13, you'll need to activate the screen for switching apps. To do that you need to swipe up from the lower edge of the screen, and then pause in the middle of the screen. Then raise your finger.

If the screen for switching apps displays, you'll see an array of thumbnails that show all the apps currently active in the background or on suspend mode for your iPhone. You can swipe them either left or right, to navigate the apps.
When you find the thumbnail for the app you'd like to close, simply flick the thumbnail up using your finger towards the top of your screen.

A thumbnail disappears and the application will be forced to shut down. When you next launch an app it'll be able to load completely. Repeat this process with as many apps you'd like from the screen for switching apps.

If you're having issues with an app , even after you've forced it to shut down, try starting it on iphone13. Also, you can apply a system update and update the application within the app. If you want to make an app close on the iPad, the same method applies to iPad too. Best of luck!
