Ghost of Tsushima PC: when will an official port happen?

An official Ghost of Tsushima PC port seems more a case of when than if. However, with the highly anticipated Director’s Cut (and PS5 upgrade) approaching, it may be a longer wait than initially anticipated.

An Ghost of Tsushima PC port is perfectly logical. The highly acclaimed action adventure by Sucker Punch Productions has taken the world by storm when it came out as the PS4 exclusive at the halfway point of 2020. However, the fact that you required an PS4 system to enjoy it, meant a lot of eager gamers were left out.

It’s been a while however, if the hype surrounding the forthcoming Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is any indication to go by, there are many gamers who want to experience the stunningly depicted world of the 13th century of feudal Japan. The expanded edition of the game prompted some to believe that it is the right time for Sony to go for the authentic Ghost of Tsushima PC port.

There are some strong indicators that this rumoured Ghost of Tsushima PC port will happen, but the timing of the release is still very much up in the air. Sony may well be hoping that this new version of the game results in a spike in PlayStation console sales.

With that said, let’s explore some of the most applicable speculation and explain why we’re pretty sure that a Ghost of Tsushima PC release is justifiably expected by many in the industry.
